Both Athens and Tempas had various similarities and differences unique culturally or politically. For example the way why these cities were governed and their political procedures and functions are similar yet much different coming from each other. There was many variations and commonalities between Athens and Tempas both culturally politically. One major difference between the two major urban centers was the manner in which their market leaders or nobleman were selected. The process by which Athens elected their leader was known as direct democracy. It was referred to as direct democracy for the straightforward fact that the citizens have to choose who also their innovator would be. Spartis used a great oligarchy as a form of govt, which means that just a few powerful people rule the federal government system. Athenians were therefore able to have more say in government polls and could support choose a better candidate to be the king or president since the common people may have more knowledge than the larger up federal government official who probably haven’t seen how much difficulty life could be.. Another difference between Athens and Spartis politically is definitely the amount of freedom the citizens received to speak. In Athens if the citizens can't stand a certain idea or legislation that is getting said, they can speak more openly regarding if they don't think legislation or thought is right or if they have questions regarding it. On the other hand in Sparta if you have an idea of your own or tend not to agree with something that a authorities official may well say during a public controversy you have a restricted say in it contrary to the Athenian people. There is a big difference in education. In Athens they will went to university from 8-18, but in Spartis they gone from 7-30 with nothing but one hide a year.
